香港學界體育聯會排球隊
香港大專體育協會主辦的 [1511 電訊盃 ] 周年頒獎典禮 , 當天安排了一場精彩的排球邀請賽 , 比賽隊伍是 ‘ 香港學界體育聯會排球隊 ’ 和 ‘ 香港大專世大代表隊
’. 這是一個很難得的機會去觀賞我們排球 界的新一代 .
雖然比賽結果是預期 之內 , 但是 , 絕非一場一面倒的賽事 . 世大代表隊明顯在技術上和體能上比較成熟 , 可能這次是表演賽的關係 ,
世大代表隊每一個球員都有出場的機會 . ( 他們現正在挑選最後十二名球員 , 出戰今年 8 月份在土耳其舉辦的 世 界大學生運動會 ) 而學界代表隊亦正在準備 4 月 22
至 24 日在台山舉行的埠際排球賽 . 但是 , 他們當天的扣球式發球失誤之高 , 真是令人難以接受 , 而且他們的攻擊策略亦較為單調 .
不過 , 在 學界 代表隊內 , 其中有兩位表演好的球員 , 還是值得一提 . 他們是 17 號的自由 防守 , 張敏龍和 5 號的快攻手 , 鍾威榮 .
張敏龍在接發球和救球方面有極之出色的表演 . 而鍾威榮就有 非常好的彈跳力 .
在此 , 我們再向主辦單位致謝 , 因他們的支持 , 令到年輕的排球員可以有更多大型 比賽的經驗 .

HKSSF Elite Team
The Hong Kong Post Secondary Colleges Athletic Association has arranged a volleyball invitation game between ‘ HKPSCAA 2005 World University Games
Team’ and ‘ HKSSF Elite Team’ in The Annual Prize Presentation Ceremony held on last Sunday April 10, 2005. It was an excellent opportunity for us
to see our next volleyball generation.
Even though the result was expected, it was not one-sided game at all. The World University Games Team was definitely maturer than the Secondary
School Elite Team in terms of skill and physical strength. Perhaps it just an exhibition game, The World University Games Team has tried out probably
all players (They are still doing the players sort list for the World University Game will be held in Turkey on coming August 2005.). The Secondary
School Elite Team was preparing themselves for the Interport Championship going to take place in TaiShan on April 22 – 24, 2005. However, their jump
serve failure rate was far too high to an unacceptable level and their offensive strategies were relatively simple on that day.
Two players in The Secondary School Elite Team are well worth to mention. They are the Libero, No.17 Cheung Man-Lung, and Middle Spiker, No.5 Chung
Wai-Wing. Cheung Man-Lung has done an excellent job on receptions and digs. Chung Wai-Wing has superb vertical.
Thanks again for The Hong Kong Post Secondary Colleges Athletic Association has arranged this volleyball invitation game. That gives a very good
opportunity to our young volleyball players to gain experiences of organized pubic event.
