sand vball in HK??

Hi all,

I'll be in HK late Feb. Looking for place to play drop-in sand doubles, but know little or nothing about the scene in HK.

What's a good place to play and what are good times? Do I need to bring a partner or just show up alone would be fine? What is the level of play there? Meeting some friends who also wanna play would be great too.

Any other hints on the culture/etiquette in HK is good. I'm Chinese in California - been playing recreationally for a number of years now and started sand about 2 years ago.

Thanks.

Thanks Snowing for the info.

Gold Coast seems good to me, since it's actually by the beach. I'll check out that place.

I probably won't be doing any booking since I don't know anyone in HK. Hopefully could just join some drop-in games.

Gold Coast is Beach Volleyball mostly populated by the local HK players. Discovery Bay (Saturday Afternoons) is Beach Volleyball played mostly by expats and ABC/CBC's.
